Shape, and be shaped, at the same time
For us, workshop facilitation is about giving people the space to speak, to be heard and to contribute.
- We can work lightly to create trust and effective results.
- We can work creatively to step outside the box and generate new, wild ideas.
- We can work deeply to reach and resolve unspoken challenges and conflicts.
An important effect of this way of facilitation is usually a strong sense of team spirit, belonging and action.
Facilitation is more of an art than a science, because of the unpredictability of the outcome. The best solution will always arise from the group intelligence, the collective agreement and understanding of the group. To bring out and guide the group intelligence requires skillful facilitation.
It is for this reason we do not use ready‐made approaches from the shelf, but instead start by finding out the intention for the initiative. Often we do an interview process. From there we create a design together with you that has the right level of challenge, not too low and not too over ambitious. We use and combine relevant and appropriate methods, techniques and tools tailored specifically for your situation.
We apply an adaptive approach, in that that we allow the workshop to be shaped by what comes up when people meet and start to create together. Conversations, solutions and results thus become more real. The approach of shaping and being shaped differs from more conventional ‘one size fits all’ approaches.
We are curious to hear more from you.
